FTX.us just announced the ability to trade NFT’s onto and off of their platform, so I figured now would be a good time to update my experience. TLDR: No complaints so far. Check out my Day of the Dead gallery at https://ftx.us/nfts/collection/Day%20of%20the%20Dead/25/1 Starting the auctions at $50.
Some things I discovered while using the platform that might be helpful to new users are:
10 day max, 5 minute min auction limit. The number of days for auctions goes above 10, but it will just error out when you try to submit it saying the duration is too long.
Support was fairly responsive on my first request, answering within 16 minutes through the online support feature. When I asked about the auction duration, it took them two days to respond.
Reached out through support, Telegram, and Twitter to get added to the featured gallery page, but haven’t heard back from anyone. To be expected for sure, but figured I would give it a shot. There is no way to automatically submit yourself for consideration. Hopefully that will be added in the future.
You can add attributes to your NFT’s, but I have not be using this feature so I don’t know how well it works.
I think it’s great they added the feature to trade your NFT’s into and out of the platform now. That should increase the audience a little bit, especially since it only costs a $1.00 to mint. I’m going to keep moving forward with my Day of the Dead series and hope this news generates some interest in the FTX.us NFT space.
